Govt's aggressive information

The disposition of Nigeria's information-minister is a clear example of our government's character.
Pls watch the man's interview with Aisha Sesay on CNN yesterday.
This exemplifies how Jonathan's government bamboozle Nigerians to keeping quiet while they continue with their haphazard unmethodical system of leadership.

A government that has chosen to disregard the kidnap and killing of its people.
If Nigerians had not cried out to the international community, the Chibok kidnap would have been another stale news of bomb-blast and loss of lives that seem to mean very little to our leadership.

I honestly do not see all that is happening with GEJ's govt as corruption alone but crude insensitivity brought on by lack of proper exposure and sentiment to the essence of their election into the offices they hold.

God will protect and bring back our kidnapped girls.

I also pray that almighty God the creator of all mankind put some wisdom into the empty heads of our leaders in Jesus name.. Amen!

Biola Ige's unintelligent nudity.

I came across a photo of upcoming actor or "Actress" as she puts it.. Biola Ige, getting her boobs sapped by Muna Obiekwe..  It made me wonder what exactly the producers of the movie had in mind when they chose to interpret that scene with such vulgar resolve.
I'm equally battling with what our dear Biola's aspirations really are.. could this be a case of misguided judgement or outright lack of intelligence on her part?

I tried to dig deeper into the matter by calling a few Blogger colleagues and press men who referred me to an interview she granted Vanguard-online, in defence of her preposterous portrayal of acting.

Biola's version is that the movie in question which produced the damaging excerpt, was shot two years ago and that there was no part of the movie containing Muna Obiekwe kissing her bare-boobs, she claims the pictures flying round the Internet were photoshopped.

Our dear star "actress" went further to educate us on how movies should be made by saying..
" As an actress, I can go all out to play a role because that is what I do for a living".
This was said after she denied ever getting her boobs sucked on set by Enugu's finest Muna Obiekwe o!.

Biola also said.. "I just want people to understand that, if you are praying for a change in Nollywood, you need to take it to another level".
I'm guessing another level for Nollywood in her opinion is porn.

The young lady went further to pour salt to injury by saying.. "My Acting is not for Nigerian market really".

Biola Ige, let me agree with you that your acting is not for the Nigerian market, I could say off the top of my head that you should be acting in Chad but that would be an insult to them, their soft-porn section has more intelligent people and you won't be able to fit in.

Movie-making is not an all comers affair,  one needs to have a certain degree of intellect to understand that movies have stories and stories have characters and characters need to be read, understood and portrayed according to the directors interpretation, that's if the the director is sane enough to understand what grade of film he's shooting and the relevance of the sex scenes in it.
Most importantly one needs to understand the genre of the movie you are getting yourself involved in before you end up playing a major role in porn.. and having to deny it like Biola Ige.

Muna my brother, abeg continue to chop your thing when these wannabes' give you but be careful not to put mouth for boobs wey their boyfriend rub poison O!

I have said my own!

While the world holds talks...

It is really disheartening to see a country being bullied by another,  just because the bully knows United Nation's diplomatic mode of operation.

Russia seems to be enjoying causing chaos in the Crimean region of Ukraine, while the world "holds talks".

Ola Rotimi's play "Holding Talks" a satirical expression of what is happening in the world today, written as far back as the 70's, completely describes the mode with which the world handles situations. Nations gather and hold talks upon talks with no resolve.

I honestly believe we cannot make everybody happy, in situations like the one in Ukraine now, somebody needs to be offended for the world to move forward. Russia needs to be put in their place and a mark needs to be left for intending future bullies.

Russia got away with what they did in Georgia, will the world also stand on the fence and watch as Russia makes rubbish of Ukraine's soverenty.

Vladimir Putin should be ashamed of himself and that other Lunatic that sold his country for a piece of Versace, Viktor Yanukovich should be arrested and made to serve a sentence where he is put on an Agege-bread diet.

It is high time the talks stopped and actions begin.

Bad leadership= Petrol scarcity

Fuel scarcity in Nigeria simply defines the lackadaisical modus-operandi of our government. Leaders whose idea of solving problems can only be described as "putting ice-cubes on a fractured leg and waiting for it to heal".

Leadership is beyond making policies and it sure takes a certain degree of intellectuality to make policies that benefits a country of over 160 million people.

I refuse to vent my frustrations on the government in light of recent events caused by fuel scarcity. The honest truth is I have lined up our leaders in both "the Presidency" and "Senate" in my mind with the question.. " Are these the best Nigeria has to offer?"
Take a moment to seriously think about it and if your answer is.. "for now", then we should all stop complaining of what they are not doing right and consider the fact that just maybe this is the much they know.

As you may have noticed, I skipped going into details concerning the current fuel crisis, lets just say we have talked enough.
All I am waiting for now is when Bakare or T.B Joshua will be instructed by God to build an ark (obibia onye nwe anyi).

May the Lord who presented solution to Abacha's tyranny deliver Nigeria from bad leadership, that is all I can say.
