SCIENCE... NOT A NAIJA THING JOR!

Hello my good people of the planet called earth... Where luckily all the animals are yet to evolve into human assassins according to the movie "After Earth".

I was chatting with a certain professor last week and the man got hysterical when I mentioned the possibility of Nigerian scientists inventing something cool in the nearest future, since a Nigerian has already started making cars. Angry, the man responded, " what kind of car is the person building, is he the one making the vehicle's engine or he imported it?"
I was speechless because I hadn't heard the engine was built in Nigeria.
The man continued: "We do not have scientists in this country because nobody stretches their limits... How can they stretch their limit when they are all sitting on the front seats of a church every other Sunday. Science itself is a belief and the addition of Christianity to it contradicts its very essence. A scientist who believes somebody in his village is trying to kill him with voodoo? Science is a religion of it's own. Real scientists believe in 'the big-bang theory' and how earth was formed from it, they also strive to make earth more comfortable to live in by inventing things that short-cut solutions to difficulties. Scientists do not do religion and they don't believe their lack of success is voodoo related. So we do not have scientists in Nigeria my young man"... He concluded.

At list we can be sure of one thing my Naija people, most of us will become pastors, lets leave invention to the west, while we pray for them jare... We can't all go to hell naaa!
